HOUSE - MORUYA HEADS (NSW)

This house faces north to maximise solar passive design principles as well as take advantage of magnificent coastal views to the north east. Window-walls and full height sliding glass doors to the north open out onto the deck from all living spaces providing an elevated outdoor living area on this steeply sloping site. This compact design includes two separate areas of accommodation to the east and the west ends of the house with own facilities.

Materials:

  • 'Shadowclad' cladding and zincalume roofing
  • Insulated walls and ceilings
  • Passive solar design to minimise loads on heating and lighting systems
  • Timberand steel sub-floor construction
